  • Design Engineer / Calculation Engineer (M/F)

    Details:

    • Position: Designs Engineer / Sr. Designs Engineer
    • Job type: Permanent
    • Work Experience: 8+ years
    • Work Location: Hyderabad, India


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ability to carry out simple structural calculations without a software package (manual calculation)
    • Efficiently utilize predefined tools to support analysis and development processes
    • Analyse and evaluate results: Assess calculation outputs with respect to technical requirements and standards
    • Develop solutions for technical problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments in Germany
    • Prepare technical reports: Compile detailed reports and documentation of calculation results
    • Present and discuss the results with the relevant technical departments
    • Develop technical solutions for special customer requirements
    • Maintaining specifications, drawings and technical manuals
    • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies and implementing new designs

    Experience and Requirements:

    8 + years of professional experience in calculation engineering
    Proven expertise in engineering designs and calculations within the valve industry
    Very good technical understanding and the ability to analyze and interpret complex technical scenarios
    Excellent teamwork and communication skills, coupled with an independent and structured working approach
    High attention to detail and accuracy in creating and maintaining technical documentation
    Proficiency in English, both written and spoken with clear and understandable pronunciation
    Experience in working with international customers
    Experience in engineering designs and calculations of valves industry is a plus

    Technical Skill :

    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
    CAD software (SolidWorks)
    Experience in ERP (Microsoft AX) & PPS systems

    Details:

    • Position: Designs Engineer / CAD-Engineer
    • Job type: Permanent

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
    • Creating shopfloor drawings for process improvement and manufacturing drawings for Valves – 2D drawings & 3D models
    • Utilize and maintain the CAD database to enhance design quality and productivity
    • Provide technical clarifications for customer orders
    • Handling spare parts, repair orders and service requests
    • Prepare bill of materials for assemblies
    • Update and maintain historical customer order documents
    • Create and manage data records in the ERP/PPS system for streamlined file management
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

    Experience and Requirements:

    • 8+ years of professional experience in technical drawing creation, ideally within the valve Industry
    • Experience in engineering designs, technical drafting, product designs in valve industry, preferably in power sector
    • Strong technical understanding with the ability to quickly analyse complex technical relationships
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills with an independent and structured work approach.
    • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with clear and understandable pronunciation.
    • Experience in working with international customers is preferred
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
    • We are looking for a long-term commitment

    Technical Skill :

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
    • Certification in CAD tools, technical product designer
    • CAD software SolidWorks
    • Experience in ERP (Microsoft AX) & PPS systems
